What the help desk keeps, who sees it, and how long it stays.
What I keep
When you send me a request, through the contact form on audetteit.com, by email, or on your request page, I keep your name, your email address, what you wrote, and our replies back and forth. I also keep my own notes about the job and any quote I sent you.
I use it to help with your request, and so we can both look back at what was said.
Who sees it
Just me. Your request page opens with the private link in my emails, so please don't forward them. Your quote only shows on your page, never anywhere public. My notes are only for me.
Where it lives
The help desk runs on Cloudflare. Emails go through my Google Workspace account, michael.audette@audetteit.com, the same as any other email I send. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep spam out.
No tracking
No analytics, no ads, and no cookies for you on this site. To stop spam, it briefly keeps a scrambled version of your IP address and throws it away within a day.
How long I keep it
I delete requests two years after they're done or closed. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, email me at michael.audette@audetteit.com and I'll delete it.
